Senior Data Analyst - R&D Portfolio Data Strategy & Insights Location: Hyderabad, India About the job As a Senior Data Analyst within our R&D Portfolio Data Strategy & Insights team, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the quality, consistency, and day-to-day management of the infrastructure of reporting data, operations data, and management information systems. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Data Governance for Master Data Management (MDM) and the Digital Portfolio team, you'll support seamless data transitions and ensure data quality. This is a stewardship role as much as it is an analytical one. You will ensure definitions are well documented, consistent and adhere to enterprise standards, including advancing AI-ready data principles, standardizing and streamlining semantics that underpin key portfolio reporting products. In addition, maintaining the KPI definitions and calculations that leadership reporting depends on. Ready to make an impact? Main responsibilities: • Manage and maintain reporting data infrastructure to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of management reports and dashboards • Standardize and streamline the semantics cross functionally that underpin key portfolio reporting products to align with the standards set by the capability lead and adhere to enterprise standards. • Maintain and validate that published KPI calculations match agreed definitions, and support the establishment of data fabric and other digital reporting products. • Advance AI-ready data principles, including but not limited to FAIR-aligned, consistently defined, documented and lineage-traceable to enable reliable reporting by analytics and other GenAI and agentic applications. • Collaborate with Master Data Management (MDM) teams to ensure data quality, governance, and alignment with enterprise data standards • Partner with the Digital Portfolio team to support effective data transitions, system migrations, and knowledge transfer activities • Develop documentation and maintain operations and management data workflows, ensuring seamless integration across platforms and stakeholders • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement • Create data visualizations and reports that translate technical data into actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams • Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting processes, identifying gaps, and recommending data management best practices About you • Experience: Proven 3-5 years’ of experience in data analysis, data management, or business intelligence roles with exposure to reporting systems and operations data • Technical skills: Proficiency in data governance, MDM principles and metadata concepts, SQL, Planisware, Snowflake, Informatica, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), working knowledge of PPM platforms. • Semantics and AI-readiness: Strong understanding of semantic layers, business glossaries, controlled vocabulary and ontology concepts, KPI definition management, and of what makes data AI-ready. • Collaboration: Strong ability to work across teams and geographies, with experience partnering with technical and business stakeholders • Communication: Ability to present data clearly to non-technical audiences and to flag clearly where harmonization is needed. • Problem-
