Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for a  Manager Supply Chain 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is located onsite at our Iuka Center of Excellence in Iuka, MS.   This role is currently supporting 2nd Shift (5:00 p.m.–3:30 a.m.); however, schedules are determined by business needs, and candidates must be willing and able to work any shift. Responsibilities include: • Lead a team of non-exempt employees, who are responsible for GSC functions across various programs from procurement to delivery. • Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Warehousing, Traffic, Procurement, etc. • Responsible for meeting direct budget targets, writing/updating work instructions, providing performance metrics, and making recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. • Leads a team that has the mission statement to support all Production goals and objectives through the accurate tracking, receiving, shipping with a strong focus on safety and cost efficiency. • Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).   • Train and guide employees in keeping with all Northrop Grumman Values & Leader Characteristics • Collaborate with various programs on projects related to material receipt, storage, issue, and transportation. • Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and external customers, including local, state, federal, and international agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in support of Aeronautics Systems Sector programs. • Directs team activities associated with program transportation, including major deliveries (classified and unclassified), and specialty movements as they relate to transportability.   Our Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same.
