Find out more: Our approach to R&D Position Summary • Manage and lead a team of Global Study Managers (GSMs) and Study Managers (SMs) within Global Clinical Study Delivery.  • Oversees study level performance of FSP SDS   • Ensure appropriate level of resources of qualified and trained GSMs/SMs to support Human Subject Research studies delivery within deadlines, budgets and quality, according to ICH/GCP, company control documents and regulatory requirements. • Responsible for driving capability development within the GSM and SM roles; driving development and skills to develop highly capable managers who thrive in the role  Responsibilities • Provides leadership, direction and vision for a team of approximately 15 direct reports.   Responsible for quality practices, improvement support and training related to Global Study Delivery Management roles. • Ensures that a level of Quality Control (QC) is embedded in GSMs and SMs day to day activities.   • Ensures Harmonization of practice at study level for GSMs and SMs to ensure consistency, high quality and efficiency.   • Drives the implementation of new practices and best practice sharing. • Provides relevant inputs on talent/skills into resource mapping decisions.  • Oversees and manages resource utilization across direct reports. • Leads and directs staff by providing company vision and strategy.   • Manages performance effectively by setting clear and measurable goals/objectives, providing regular and constructive feedback, conducting open and transparent conversations on areas needing improvement, recognizing and rewarding achievements, facilitating professional development opportunities, and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and values. • Contributes to GSMs and SMs capability building by supporting onboarding and community forums. • Drives an effective change management culture. • Continual Embedding of Study Team Operating model Basic Qualification • General Science or Life/Health related Science Degree • Pharmacy, Chemistry, Bio Engineer, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Project Management, Business School Preferred Qualification • Overall Experience 10+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years of line management experience in additional to relevant study management /study delivery experience Minimum 5 years of experience in the following: • Managing clinical operations with thorough understanding and application of ICH/GCP and Regulatory requirements driving clinical development. • Experience working in international settings, leading teams across diverse geographical, national, and cultural boundaries by delegating tasks appropriately, empowering team members, fostering collaboration, and ensuring accountability for results. • Experience in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaborative efforts and deliver outcomes aligned with customer needs. • Experience in setting priorities, allocating resources, and managing performance targets and project initiatives within a global environment. • Experience in resolving complex issues by analyzi
