US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role
At Stark, we forge the future of European and national security through cutting-edge, AI-driven technology and unmatched engineering precision. As a premier defence technology company, our mission is clear: to equip NATO Allies and their partners with next-generation autonomous defence platforms and advanced AI-driven software built to perform in the world’s most demanding environments. We believe that true security stems from relentless innovation. By combining elite engineering talent with agile technology and an AI-native operational culture, Stark turns complex defence challenges into field-tested, multi-domain solutions. Why Join Us? • The software and systems you work on directly protect personnel and defend European and national sovereignty. • You will work alongside industry-leading minds on autonomous systems, advanced propulsion, and secure cyber platforms. • We foster a fast-paced, collaborative environment where bold ideas are supported by serious R&D backing. About the Team Mission Simulation is STARK’s digital proving ground — the tactical environment where our entire ecosystem of UAVs, surface vessels, and EW systems converges. The Mission Simulation team is a small, specialized group based in Munich, working closely with our platform and C2 teams to integrate all multi-domain assets into high-fidelity, Software-in-the-Loop simulators. We move fast, ship realistic environments, and build for three core purposes: rigorous testing, high-stakes demos, and tactical training. There is no room for gamification. We simulate the reality of combat — from complex swarm logic to EW degradation — ensuring that developers can fail fast, and real soldiers can train safely before hitting the battlefield. Your Mission As our Simulation Product Designer, you will take our high-tech simulation hardware and turn it into a premium, deployable physical product. From designing custom ruggedized cases and CAD-modeled foam inlays, to conceptualizing cable-free, ergonomic simulator setups and entire physical training rooms, you ensure that STARK’s systems look, feel, and deploy as professionally as they perform. Responsibilities • Design physical packaging and transport solutions, including CAD-modeled custom inlays for ruggedized mobile deployment cases (e.g., replacing standard boxes with highly functional, premium field kits). • Develop aesthetic and ergonomic hardware layouts for all simulator setups, engineering strict cable management solutions to eliminate visual clutter and ensure a premium look. • Conceptualize and blueprint physical training room environments, tailoring the spatial layout and hardware placement to specific customer facilities and training requirements.Create detailed 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and physical prototypes of hardware setups, custom mounts, and spatial layouts. • Collaborate closely with the Hardware Integration and Operations teams to ensure your physical designs are durable, manufacturable, and easily deployable by our field engineers. • Source and select appropriate physical materials (foams, rugged plastics, mounting hardware) that meet defense-grade standards for durability and aesthetics. Required Skills • Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or equivalent practical experience in hardware design. • 3+ years of hands-on experience in physical product design, industrial design, or hardware packaging. • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD) for modeling physical components and spatial layouts. • Proven experience designing physical enclosures, transport cases (custom inlays/foam), and managing hardware ergonomics (e.g., cable management solutions). Nice-To-Have • Experience in spatial or i
