US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role

About Helius Helius is a leading developer platform on the Solana blockchain, dedicated to inspiring and accelerating the creation of crypto-powered software. Customers like Coinbase, Jupiter, and Phantom use Helius to power their applications on Solana. We’ve raised over $34m from Coinbase, Haun Ventures, Founders Fund, Foundation Capital, 6th Man Ventures, Reciprocal Ventures, Chapter One and angel investors including Solana co-founders Anatoly Yakovenko and Raj Gokal, and Balaji Srinivasan. Our team members have previously built mission-critical, scalable infrastructure at AWS, Coinbase, Stripe, Google, Digital Ocean, and more. Read our Helius Manifesto to see how we work and what we value. About the Role Your job is to increase the productivity of our customers and increase adoption of Helius products. You’ll be part of Helius’s new Developer Relations team focused on our data platform: LaserStream, RPC, webhooks, and our APIs. This is technical marketing in the best sense. You create value for developers by explaining things well, building things worth copying, and helping people when they're stuck. You'll make tutorials, demo apps, videos, and technical content across the Helius data platform. You'll use our products the same way customers do, so what you publish actually works, and the advice you give holds up. You'll be one of the public faces of Helius. Solana developers live on Discord, Telegram, and X, and so will you. Nobody is going to hand you a content calendar. We expect you to find where developers get stuck and pitch what to build, instead of being told what to do. What You'll Do • Write code tutorials and technical deep dives on building with Solana data • Build demo applications, starter repos, and SDK examples across LaserStream, RPC, webhooks, and APIs • Make videos and tutorials, either on your own or with our designers when you want higher production value • Be active where Solana developers are: Discord, Telegram, X, and GitHub. Answer questions, unblock people, be useful in public • Go to hackathons and conferences to run workshops, judge projects, and help builders in person • Bring developer feedback to engineering and product, then tell the community when we've shipped fixes • Work with ecosystem partners like protocols, tooling teams, and educators • Keep score on what's working: content reach, demo adoption, developer activation, community growth • Own developer-facing communications for the data platform, including customer outreach and Agave upgrade announcements What You'll Bring • 2+ years of professional experience at a technology-first company, ideally in developer tooling or infrastructure • Hands-on engineering experience. You're comfortable writing code and can easily relate to the engineers who use Helius • Excellent technical writing and oral communication. You can take a complex problem and make it easy to understand for a broad audience • You can produce across formats: written tutorials, demo apps, SDKs, video • A portfolio we can review before we talk: tutorials, videos, repos, talks, or threads you've already made • Community-oriented. You live on Discord, Telegram, and X, and you have your own network and personal brand • Willingness to travel. The Solana calendar is global, and hackathons and conferences are part of the job • Extreme agency and ownership. Self-directed. We expect you to find where developers get stuck and pitch what to build, instead of being told what to do Nice to Have • You've built on Solana or know its data model well: accounts, transactions, RPC, onchain data at scale • Prior developer advocacy or technical content work at an infrastructure or devtools company • An existing audience in the Solana or broader crypto developer communit
