About the role
Position Summary The Sales, Marketing & Business Solutions product team owns the product stack that Natera's Sales and Marketing organizations rely on daily. That includes the tools for generating demand, managing accounts and pipeline, and running campaigns. Salesforce is the center of this portfolio today, and the scope is growing to include marketing automation and other commercial tools around it. In this role, you will own the roadmap, KPIs, and strategy, while partnering with engineering for delivery, for these platforms. The portfolio has a lot of requests from commercial stakeholders, and part of the job is helping the business choose what matters most, in what order, and how to demonstrate quantifiable success. You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and commercial stakeholders to turn a long list of initiatives into a clear plan with measurable outcomes. You will also help us decide what to build, what to buy, what to configure, and what to retire. If you like bringing clarity to a high-visibility platform and seeing the business benefit directly, you will enjoy this role. Primary Responsibilities • Own the strategy, roadmap, and backlog for Sales and Marketing platforms, with Salesforce as the system of record and primary user-facing interaction mode for commercial workflows • Partner with Sales & Marketing to turn business needs into clear requirements (PRDs, user stories, user flows) and prioritize them by value, effort, and platform impact • Manage the integration points between CRM and marketing automation, including lead lifecycle, scoring, routing, and attribution • Lead quarterly and annual planning (intake, prioritization, and governance processes) with technical and cross-functional stakeholders so every initiative is visible, sequenced, and tied to an outcome • Work with engineering and architecture on data model, integration, and build vs. buy vs. configure decisions • Plan releases and manage dependencies across platforms, making sure changes are tested, communicated, and adopted • Define and track KPIs such as adoption, data quality, funnel efficiency, and delivery predictability, and use them to guide investment • Evaluate new tools and capabilities, including AI-enabled features, and recommend where to consolidate or retire overlapping systems • Communicate status, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders, including senior leadership Qualifications • Experience partnering directly with Sales & Marketing stakeholders to turn business goals into product roadmaps, features, and defined impact. • A track record of delivering enterprise Sales or Marketing technology (CRM, sales engagement, CPQ, lead routing, analytics) with quantifiable results. • Hands-on Salesforce product experience (required). You have owned or managed product delivery on the Salesforce platform, for example Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Health Cloud. You are comfortable with objects and data model, flows and automation, security and permissions, sandboxes and release management, and org governance. • Experience with marketing automation and campaign platforms such as Eloqua, Marketo, Account Engagement, or HubSpot. Eloqua experience is a plus. • Experience working alongside Salesforce engineers, admins, and architects. You can weigh integration approaches (APIs, middleware, data pipelines) and know when configuration is enough and when custom development is worth it. • Experience bringing order to a loosely governed portfolio (with support from Tech leadership), including intake, prioritization, roadmap management, and aligning stakeholders with competing demands. • Comfort with ambiguity and complexity, and the ability to find practical, scalable answers.
