About the role
Our Mission You call. You wait. You call again. In every other part of your life, you book in seconds. In healthcare, you’re blocked. We’re here to give power to the patient. For nearly 20 years, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace - helping tens of millions of people find and book the care they need. Now, we’re going further: building our infrastructure beyond Zocdoc’s marketplace to power access to care wherever patients search, from provider websites and insurance directories to search engines, AI platforms, and more. Healthcare still lacks something every other major consumer industry takes for granted: a seamless way to go from seeking to getting . We don’t want to own the front door to care; there isn't one. We want to make sure all of those doors open when patients are knocking. Fixing healthcare starts with fixing access to it. And we're still just getting started. Your Impact on Our Mission As the Director, Lifecycle Marketing, Provider Growth, you’ll build the strategy, data foundation, and operating model for a new approach to provider lifecycle growth. Zocdoc is building the access infrastructure to make care bookable wherever patients search—connecting providers, insurance plans, scheduling systems, and practice workflows beyond the marketplace. For providers, that means more ways for patients to find and book them, with scheduling and practice tools designed to fit their operations. You’ll build the lifecycle strategy that helps practices understand, adopt, and realize ongoing value from this expanding platform. Reporting to the VP, Provider Growth, you’ll lead Lifecycle Marketing and support Product-Led Growth (PLG) in close partnership with Product, Data Science, and other growth teams, building a connected system that uses customer and product signals to understand what providers need and adapt experiences over time. This is a builder role: you’ll set the direction, hire and develop the team, and work with partners to bring the system to life. You’ll be an informed, hands-on partner to Data Science, Product, and Engineering—able to explore data, form strong hypotheses, and translate them into clear requirements for identity, decisioning, content, channels, and measurement. Together, you’ll build experiences that help practices get value from an increasingly broad platform. Your day-to-day is... • Building the Lifecycle Marketing function from the ground up: defining its strategy, team design, hiring plan, roadmap, operating model, and priorities—and translating them into shipped capabilities and measurable outcomes, while supporting PLG in close partnership with Product and Data Science. • Reimagining lifecycle as a continuously learning growth system, not a sequence of fixed programs, with experiences that adapt to provider context, needs, intent, product behavior, and readiness. • Designing how provider identity, account context, product usage, behavioral signals, and business objectives come together to inform decisioning and the next best action; starting with actionable approaches and progressively introducing predictive or AI-enabled methods where they add value. • Working directly with provider, account, product, and engagement data to build cohorts, investigate behavior, and diagnose drop-offs. You’ll be able to self-serve meaningful analysis while partnering with Data Science on deeper analyses, models, instrumentation, and scalable data capabilities. • Bringing the system to life across product surfaces, email, transactional communications, push, SMS, and human interactions with Sales and Customer Success—choosing the right channel and moment rather than simply increasing touch volume. • Ensuring each experience helps providers discover, adopt, and realize value from Zocdoc’s ex
