About the role

Job Details: Job Description: The Opportunity Intel's Neuromorphic Computing Lab is moving from a highly successful research program into a new phase focused on commercial products and customer deployment. Building on nearly a decade of innovation in Loihi neuromorphic processors and a broad global research ecosystem, the team is developing new computing architectures for AI systems that must perceive, reason, and act in the physical world. Our group reports into Intel's Corporate Technology Office (CTO), a hub for innovation and strategic leadership at Intel, and combines the DNA of a startup with Intel's technology, manufacturing capabilities, and scale. We are looking for a technically strong and entrepreneurial Business Development Lead to help translate emerging technology into real customer and market opportunities. You will work directly with customers, partners, and Intel's engineering and product teams to identify the applications where neuromorphic computing can deliver differentiated value, develop strategic engagements, and help shape the path from early technology evaluation to commercial adoption. Responsibilities • Identify and develop strategic customer opportunities across robotics, edge AI, autonomous systems, intelligent sensing, communications, aerospace, and other emerging applications. • Build relationships with key customers and partners, developing a deep understanding of their workloads, system constraints, business needs, and adoption barriers. • Drive early engagements toward concrete outcomes, including technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts, joint development programs, strategic partnerships, and potential design wins. • Work closely with architecture, silicon, software, research, and product teams to translate customer and market requirements into technology and product priorities. • Develop the broader technology and business ecosystem needed for successful commercialization, including strategic relationships with software, systems, sensor, IP, and other technology partners. • Assess markets, competitors, and emerging AI trends to identify market opportunities and develop differentiated product positioning and go-to-market strategies. • Represent Intel and the Neuromorphic Computing Lab in customer meetings, partner discussions, industry events, and other external forums. • Own the group's business development processes and opportunity pipeline. Qualifications: Minimum qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. • 12+ years of experience in the technology industry, with demonstrated progression from technical roles into product, strategy, or business leadership. • 8+ years of experience in business development, product management, product marketing, strategic partnerships, or ecosystem development in high-tech markets. • 4+ years of experience with AI hardware/software, edge/embedded computing, or advanced semiconductor technologies. • Proven track record of building customer and partner relationships to bring new technologies from early adoption toward commercial deployment. • Ability to engage credibly with both technical and business stakeholders and translate customer needs into product and business opportunities. • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Preferred qualifications • Master's degree, MBA, or PhD in Engineering, Business, or a related field. • Experience in markets relevant to neuromorphic computing, such as edge and physical AI, robotics and autonomous systems, intelligent sensing, signal processing, or communications. • Prior experience working with academic and government partners. • 2+ years of management or cross-functional leadership experience.            Job Type: Experienced Hire S
