360 Excavator Operator (Digger Driver)

Iron Sparrow Construction Limited is recruiting an experienced 360 Excavator Operator for a full-time position on civil engineering and utilities projects in the Midlands, County Kilkenny and County Tipperary. The work involves water and utility pipe replacement, trench excavation, backfilling and associated groundworks. Main duties: * Operate a 360 excavator safely and efficiently. * Excavate and backfill trenches for pipe replacement works. * Work safely around existing underground services. * Carry out daily machine checks and report defects. * Follow site safety procedures and work closely with the groundworks team. Essential requirements: * Valid SOLAS CSCS 360 Excavator operator card, or a SOLAS-recognised equivalent. * Valid Safe Pass card. * Relevant experience in utilities, pipe replacement, civil engineering or groundworks. * Experience of safe trench excavation and working near underground services. * Ability to follow site instructions and work safely as part of a team. * Willingness to travel to project sites in the Midlands, County Kilkenny and County Tipperary. * Right to work in Ireland. A CSCS Locating Underground Services qualification (CAT & Genny) and other relevant safety training are an advantage. Pay and working arrangements will be discussed at interview.
