About the role
Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human
Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence.
This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk.
About the role:
The Enablement Business Partner (EBP) role will play a critical part in aligning global enablement strategies with regional sales execution across the AMER sales organization. You will report to the Director of Enablement Business Partners and serve as a strategic and trusted advisor to sales leadership. You will be responsible for tailoring training programs to specific sales segment needs, equipping sellers with essential knowledge and skills, and measuring program impact to drive continuous performance improvement and support Okta's growth.
The ideal candidate embodies a high-performance mindset. Consistently raising the bar, turning action into traction, thriving in change, and moving fast to simplify and repeat. Navigating field requirements with urgency and an obsession for concrete outcomes, you will bridge communication across various functions, foster alignment, and serve as the vital link between the Global Enablement Team (GET) and field sales execution. Strong orchestration, facilitation, and consultative skills are necessary for driving skill adoption and winning as a team.
This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco Bay Area, Bellevue or Chicago and requires 2 days per week in the office.
In this role, you will:
• Serve as the Voice of the Field: Gather field insights across sales leadership and extended selling teams (Sales Ops, XDR, Marketing) and channel actionable feedback to GET and supporting functions to continuously challenge and evolve enablement strategy.
• Drive Strategic Field Alignment: Build trust-based relationships with sales leaders, managers, and ICs, delivering insights and aligning enablement initiatives with core segment business objectives and financial levers.
• Activate & Execute Programs: Lead the end-to-end execution (pre-launch, launch, post-launch) of global and local enablement initiatives. Turning strategy into measurable traction, driving adoption, and tracking success metrics.
• Shape the Global Enablement Plan: Communicate regional and segment-specific needs, challenges, and barriers to shape and prioritize GET’s global plan and strategic roadmap.
• Develop Proposals & Frameworks: Propose regional program ideas for global scaling and create detailed frameworks for the content team to ensure messaging resonates with target sales audiences.
• Demonstrate Sales & Business Acumen: Maintain deep domain expertise in products, use cases, Customer Engagement Models (CEM), and deal progression using the MEDDPICC framework.
You will thrive in this role if you:
• Have 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, revenue enablement, or a related role within the tech or SaaS industry.
• Have a solid track record of developing and delivering enablement programs, choosing ambition over comfort and consistently raising your own bar.
• Possess deep knowledge of enterprise sales processes, buyer personas, and the MEDDPICC deal inspection framework.
• Demonstrate exceptional facilitation, presentation, and storytelling skills to engage sales teams and align enablement initiatives with C-level sales leadership.
• Exhibit competence in leveraging revenue enablement platforms (e.g., Highspot, Gong) and data analytics to measure program effectiveness and ROI.
