Geotab is seeking a Facilities Manager who will lead the Oakville Office Experience team and oversee the facilities, vendors, projects, and building operations that create a safe, efficient, and productive workplace. This role offers the opportunity to bring practical leadership and operational excellence to a high-impact headquarters environment while supporting a busy portfolio of projects. The initial six-month contract may be extended with the possibility of becoming permanent. What you'll do: As a Facilities Manager your key area of responsibility will be leading the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of Geotab's Oakville headquarters. You will lead the Office Experience team, including food and beverage, reception, maintenance, and administrative staff; manage vendor relationships and service delivery; oversee building systems and scheduled maintenance; and coordinate construction, renovation, workplace design, and space-planning projects. You will manage operational budgets, service levels, safety and security protocols, emergency preparedness, business continuity, and communications about facility status and initiatives. You will work closely with Procurement, IT, Security, HR, Finance, contractors, and internal stakeholders to keep projects on track and ensure the workplace operates at a high standard. To be successful in this role you will be a practical, accountable, and people-focused leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on operational judgment. You will bring strong communication, mentoring, collaboration, and decision-making skills, along with the ability to manage competing priorities, budgets, vendors, incidents, and project milestones. This is an in-office role based at Oakville headquarters, with daily attendance expected and occasional after-hours work.
