A little about the position: Job Summary: Responsible for managing incoming/outgoing shipments, inventory accuracy, focusing on safety, efficiency, and compliance while coordinating with other departments to ensure product flow standards. Some of What You Will Do: • Responsible for championing our Zero is Possible safety culture. • Supervising staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, payroll, delegating tasks, motivating and mentoring staff, and managing schedules • Manage & audit shipping documentation, systems and processes, including System 21, IFS, bills of lading, packing lists, advanced shipping notices, and customs forms to ensure compliance with company processes, policies and regulations • Responsible for maintaining our high standards including our on-time shipment of product lines. • Manage the cycle count program and year end physical inventory • Collaborate with other departments, including customer service, sales, and operations for the purpose of streamlining processes, maintaining a smooth workflow and delivering exceptional customer experiences. • Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and maintain high customer satisfaction • Other duties as assigned What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications) • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics or business preferred • 3-5 years shipping, warehouse, or distributions operations. • Minimum 1-2 years supervising dock or shipping staff directly • Ability to clearly communicate with carriers, staff and internal customers • Ability to manage time-sensitive, competing priorities simultaneously while remaining calm under pressure. • Ability to work varied hours, including OT, and weekends • Heavy lifting is required.
