US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role
THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
FanDuel is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own Core Data Infrastructure (CDI) within our centralized Data Products team. CDI is the foundational layer that powers every data product at FanDuel: our Databricks lakehouse platform, workflow orchestration, self-service data tooling, and the governance and cost discipline that keep all of it trustworthy and efficient. You will set product direction across four engineering verticals (Data Tooling, Databricks Platform, Data Platform Customer Success, and Data Security), working daily with senior engineering leadership to move CDI from an engineering-led backlog to a product-led roadmap with clear priorities, defensible metrics, and measurable adoption. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role on the critical path for company-wide data reliability, compliance (SOX, ABAC and data governance), and platform cost management, feeding directly into FanDuel's broader Data Platform strategy and 2026 OKRs.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
• Own the CDI product roadmap end to end: the Databricks lakehouse platform, Airflow orchestration, and Stargate (our self-service data access and provisioning tool), translating a large technical backlog into a focused, prioritized roadmap.
• Partner day-to-day with engineering leadership across CDI's four verticals (Data Tooling, Databricks Platform, Data Platform Customer Success, Data Security) to move planning from engineering-led to product-led, using clear decision ownership (DACI) and defensible, dashboard-backed metrics.
• Drive platform cost governance and FinOps discipline; own tooling such as the internal Cost Estimator and advance cost estimates toward a required gate before new infrastructure is provisioned.
• Own data governance, security, and compliance commitments tied to the platform, including SOX controls, attribute-based access control (ABAC), and Unity Catalog governance, partnering with Data Security and Legal/Compliance to keep the platform audit-ready.
• Lead the self-service vision for Stargate and internal data tooling (Orbit, Nexus): grow adoption, define success metrics, and reduce the reactive support-ticket load that consumes a large share of the team's capacity.
• Represent CDI in FanDuel's Unified Data Context and semantic layer strategy, partnering with peer Data Product Managers and Central AI to define scope, sequencing, and hand-offs as the program matures.
• Elicit requirements in the form of clear problem statements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and run a disciplined backlog that engineering managers and stakeholders can plan against with confidence.
• Monitor platform health (reliability, data quality, blocked-work trends, and adoption) and use that signal to continuously re-prioritize the roadmap.
• Play an active role in FanDuel's Product Management community, sharing best practices and helping raise the bar for product-led thinking across traditionally engineering-led teams.
THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner shipping infrastructure, platform, or developer-tooling products, ideally within a data or ML platform organization, with a proven track record of turning a large technical backlog into a focused, prioritized roadmap.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline) or equivalent industry experience preferred; a Master's degre
