US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
As Senior Director of Worldwide Deal Desk at Snowflake, you'll be central to the company's growth. - Own deal review and approval governance, making sure deals follow company policies, revenue recognition requirements and risk thresholds.
- Partner with Finance, Legal and RevOps leadership to define and evolve policies, approval matrices and deal processes, and drive their adoption across the field.
- Define and report on Deal Desk KPIs (deal cycle time, approval SLAs, discount trends, non-standard term usage, etc.) to give executives insight into deal health and commercial risk.
- Lead the AI transformation of the Deal Desk. Working with Data Analytics and Enterprise Technology, build an AI-native organization: deploy AI agents and copilots for deal structuring guidance, pricing recommendations, contract review and redlining, approval routing, and deal risk scoring.
- Champion AI adoption across the team. Build AI fluency, redesign workflows around automation, and measure the impact on productivity, cycle time and deal quality.
