About the role

At Flix, we offer a dynamic work environment with competitive pay, strong growth opportunities, and a tech-driven approach to making travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable. You will join Flix's People & Organization Digital Transformation team as a technically hands-on Business Analyst, bridging HR operations, Workday and emerging AI and automation technologies. You will understand how HR processes work end to end, identify opportunities to simplify and automate them, and turn business challenges into practical technology solutions. Beyond gathering requirements, you will help build and deploy workflows, integrations and AI-enabled tools, while supporting Workday tech operations and process optimization in close collaboration with our internal Workday technology team and FlixTech. The role reports to the Head of Digital Transformation and collaborates with HR process owners, People Operations, Workday Tech team, FlixTech, IT Security and Data Privacy teams globally. This role is based in Berlin (hybrid model). Given the global scope, regular collaboration with colleagues across European, APAC and US time zones is required. About the Role • Analyze and optimize HR processes across the hire-to-retire lifecycle, working with People Operations and process owners to identify inefficiencies, conduct as-is/to-be gap analyses and translate requirements into practical Workday, automation and AI solutions • Support hands-on Workday operations and optimization , including approved HRIS transactions, organizational and position management, data maintenance, EIB uploads and functional testing, working within established security and governance frameworks • Design, build and maintain automation workflows using n8n, UiPath, Python and GenAI/LLM technologies, including MCPs, custom connectors, exception handling, monitoring and operational support. • Build and deploy AI-powered HR tools and internal applications , including Claude-based apps, with appropriate authentication, role-based access, data privacy and governance in collaboration with FlixTech and IT Security. • Drive business analysis and technical delivery from requirements and process design through prototyping, integration specifications, SIT/UAT, implementation and adoption, collaborating with Workday tech team on Workday configuration and technical integrations • Develop HR technology products and service-delivery solutions using Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence and Rovo Agents, improving employee and HR experiences through workflow automation, self-service and continuous product improvement Most HR analyst roles stop at scoping requirements and handing them over. This one doesn't. You will keep Workday running for HR day to day, shape how our processes work in Workday, and build the automation and AI that removes manual work. You'll be the person the People function brings its problems to, and you'll help define how AI & Automation is adopted responsibly across HR at scale. About You • 5+ years of experience in HR technology, HR business analysis, HRIS or automation, with strong operational HR domain knowledge across the hire-to-retire lifecycle • Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM, business processes, organizational structures, security concepts and HRIS governance , including practical experience with Workday optimization, operational transactions, reporting, data maintenance or EIBs. A Workday (e.g. Core HCM) certification is preferred • Strong business analysis skills: gap analysis between as-is Workday processes and feasible to-be processes, requirements engineering, BPMN, and the ability to explain clearly to both HR and technical colleagues what is possible and what is not • Strong hands-on programming and automation experience ,
