H-1B has no fixed salary bar: the employer must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and area. Cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level. US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role

Role: Senior Finance Officer Location: DFYNE HQ, 1 Forrest Gate, Uddingston, G71 5PG Work Location: Onsite About You: Are you someone who loves getting into the detail while still seeing the bigger financial picture? Do you enjoy turning numbers into meaningful insight, spotting trends, strengthening controls, and ensuring everything balances exactly as it should? Are you equally comfortable preparing management accounts, analysing variances, managing fixed assets, and rolling up your sleeves to process invoices and reconcile supplier accounts? If you're highly organised, commercially aware, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, DFYNE may be the place for you. About DFYNE: A picture paints a thousand words… and we’re sure you don’t want to be sat here reading an essay of corporate “about us” spiel…. Seriously, how’re you able to really get under the skin of what we’re about from a few words on a screen. So why don’t you have a look and see what we’re all about for yourself - www.dfyne.com. About the role - DFYNE Your Career: First off, it's best I introduce myself (person behind the keyboard here). It’s not the norm on a job advert, but I think it’s important you get introduced to who you might be working with for a long time early on. I'm Luca, Chief Financial Officer at DFYNE, and I'm looking for someone who can help us continue building a world-class finance function as we scale globally. This isn't a traditional management accountant role where you'll only focus on month-end reporting from a distance. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of accurate and timely management accounts while remaining hands-on across accounts payable, fixed asset management, lease accounting, financial controls, and commercial analysis. You'll be responsible for ensuring financial information is reliable, insightful, and delivered on time, whilst maintaining strong processes that keep the day-to-day finance operation running smoothly. You'll partner with teams across the business, challenge costs where appropriate, identify risks and opportunities, and support the continued growth of DFYNE through sound financial management. Attitude: • Ownership mentality • Detail obsessed • Commercially curious • Problem solver • Calm under pressure • Continuous improvement mindset Key Responsibilities 1. Management Accounts & Month-End Reporting: • Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and supporting schedules, to agreed deadlines. • Post and review accruals, prepayments, depreciation, amortisation, and other month-end journals; maintain clear supporting working papers. • Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate differences, and resolve outstanding items. • Analyse actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods, explaining material variances and cost trends to management. • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and improvements to management reporting. • Ensure accurate cut-off, allocation of costs to departments and cost centres, and completeness of month-end liabilities. • Work with the Finance Team Lead on audit preparation, financial controls, and process improvements. 2. Fixed Assets & Right-of-Use (ROU) Asset Accounting: • Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), ensuring accurate accounting for capital expenditure (CapEx), additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations. • Manage Right-of-Use (ROU) asset schedules and lease liabilities in accordance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS 16 / FRS 102), ensuring monthly lease interest and depreciation journals are accurately posted. • Review purchase invoices and CapEx requests to ensure correct capitalisation treatment versus
