Systems Engineer

If this opportunity interests you, we invite you to apply.   Position responsibilities: • Develops and documents complex electronic and electrical system requirements. • Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications. • Designs hardware, software, and interface specifications. • Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and certification requirements, including ARP4754A, DO-178, and DO-254. • Tests and validates system designs to ensure they meet operational and functional requirements. • Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. • Troubleshoots and provides support for fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle. • Authors and peer-reviews Functional Hazard Analyses (FHA), Fault Tree Analyses (FTA), Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA), and System Safety Assessment (SSA) documents. • Travels internationally on occasion.   Basic Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in aircraft or aerospace network architecture, avionics, or complex embedded networking systems. • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.   Preferred Qualifications: • Relevant experience with product development life cycle (e.g., V-model application on ARP-4754), requirements management and design review. • Relevant experience with environmental qualification process. • Relevant experience with Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), System Safety Assessment (SSA), and ARP4761 Safety Assessment. • Relevant experience with product certification process.   Join us if you want to: • Market competitive salary and performance-based incentive program. • Have flexible working hours. • Enjoy additional paid days off for Christmas break (December 24th-January 1st).  • Develop professional skills with our virtual learning tools and platforms.  • Benefit from Learning Together Program and MyBenefit program.  • Benefit from Employee Recognition Program. • Get Medical Plan (LuxMed) and life insurance (Warta S.A.) for you and your Family. • Participate in Employee Pension Scheme (PPE). • Enjoy and create with us friendly and inclusive atmosphere in workplace. • Cooperate and exchange knowledge with international team where we support and respect each other.  • Cooperate and exchange knowledge with world class global engineering team.
