About the role

The ServiceNow Security Organization (SSO)   The ServiceNow Security Organization (SSO) delivers world-class, innovative security solutions to reduce risk and protect the company and our customers. We enable our customers to migrate their most sensitive data and workloads to the cloud, accelerating our business so that we are the most trusted SaaS provider. We create an environment where our employees are proud to work and can make a positive impact   Role summary  Enterprise Security is hiring a Technical Program Manager to bring delivery discipline to three connected programs: Vulnerability Management, Configuration Management, and Attack Surface Management. You will manage the OKR and epic portfolio, keep priorities current, and make sure committed work is loaded into each engineering team's agile backlog, so delivery dates will hold.   Why this role matters  These programs span many teams and stay active for multiple quarters. Dependencies, shifting priorities, and unclear ownership can stall critical work. You will be the person who tracks, communicates, and resolves cross-team dependencies so engineers can stay focused on technical delivery, and leaders can focus on strategy and people.  What you'll do  • Manage the OKR and epic portfolio across all three programs, including creation, refinement, sequencing, and status tracking.  • Lead ongoing reprioritization as scope and demand change and communicate trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.  • Work with team leads, so each team's agile funnel reflects current priorities and supports committed delivery dates.  • Track dependencies, risks, and blockers across teams, and drive them to resolution or escalate early.  • Produce executive-ready status, risk, and progress reporting for the whole portfolio.  • Run gate reviews and go/no-go checkpoints for major milestones.  • Model team capacity against competing priorities and raise conflicts early.  • Build repeatable standards, such as OKR governance and intake and planning templates, that scale across teams.  Qualifications  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.  • 12+ years of program or project management experience in software, security, or infrastructure organizations. OR similar experience with education.  • A track record of managing multi-team programs with competing priorities and dependencies.  • Strong working knowledge of agile delivery, including backlog, epic, and sprint planning in enterprise tools (such as ServiceNow Agile).  • Experience managing OKRs and tying delivery to measurable outcomes.  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level reporting.  • The ability to influence and align teams without direct authority.  Preferred qualifications  • Experience in security operations, vulnerability management, configuration or compliance management, CMDB, or attack surface and exposure management.  • Familiarity with regulated or government environments, such as FedRAMP and federal directives.  • Experience launching a new program, including defining metrics and reporting cadence.  • Experience with capacity planning and portfolio-level road mapping.  • PMP, SAFe, or similar certification (nice to have, not required).  Success measures for the first 6 to 12 months  • A single, current OKR and epic view across VM, CM, and ASM.  • Each team's agile funnel aligned to committed delivery dates.  • Cross-team blockers resolved on a predictable cadence.  • ASM success measures defined, with regular reporting to leadership.
