US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role
About Us:
Wrapbook is the AI platform for production finance. We’re building a system of action that puts finance teams in control of their whole production, from payroll, to spend, to accounting.
Built for feature films, TV, and commercials, Wrapbook is trusted by teams at Netflix, Paramount, Anonymous Content, and more. With backing from Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Jeffrey Katzenberg's WndrCo, our team of 350+ is using AI to transform how finance teams work and empower them to do more with less.
The Opportunity - Senior Manager, Accounting - (Remote - USA / CANADA)
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Accounting who combines technical accounting expertise with a drive to build better systems, processes, and teams.
If you want to maintain existing processes, this isn’t the role for you. If you want to be accountable for the numbers, build the tooling that makes them faster and more reliable, and develop a team that does the same, it is.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Controller, you’ll own the monthly close, the financial statements, and the general ledger for a complex, multi-product fintech platform. You’ll own the quality of our financial statements and help shape the systems that produce them, with direct partnership across Engineering, Product, and Operations, as well as use AI in your own work to improve accuracy and efficiency.
We’re advancing an AI-driven transformation of our accounting function. With Rillet as our ERP and elements of the close already automated, you’ll have a strong platform to build on. The foundation however remains essential: accurate numbers, reconciliations and sound controls. From there, you’ll use technology to automate manual work, improve accuracy, and support growth. You should think in systems, challenge processes that rely on manual or repetitive effort, and recognize when a recurring reconciliation/task could become a controlled, automated workflow.
You’ll bring the technical accounting expertise and sound judgment to prepare us for our first financial statement audit and support our next stage of growth. You’ll translate complex transactions and new products into clear accounting policies, well-supported conclusions, and reliable financial reporting. By strengthening documentation, controls, and review practices, you’ll build an accounting foundation that meets audit expectations and scales with the business.
What you’ll do:
•
Own the financial statements from close to delivery. Run the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and review the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
•
Own the post-implementation build-out of Rillet (ERP) to a fully functional ERP. Build the rules and controls that drive how transactions post. Connect Rillet to our subledger and source systems so data flows in without manual entry; building a close that runs on automation .
•
Redesign the ledger and chart of accounts for how the business operates today. Evolve the general ledger, subledgers, and chart of accounts to support existing payment flows, new products, and increasing transaction volume. Translate accounting and reporting requirements into clear system specifications with Engineering, Product, and Operations.
•
Lead the preparation for a financial statement audit and a quality of earnings review over the next 9- 18 months. Establish process documentation, supporting schedules, and control evidence, and act as the primary contact for auditors and diligence advisors.
•
Research complex transactions under U.S. GAAP, document conclusions in clear technical memos, and translate those conclusions into accounting policies, system requirements, and financial reporting.
•
Drive practical AI adoption and automation. Identify
