Northrop Grumman has an opening for an  Associate Contract Administrator (Level 1)  to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will be responsible for Contract Set Up Group (CSG) activities within Defense Systems Sector. This position will be based in Northridge, CA, Mesa, AZ, Plymouth, MN or any NG onsite location . Essential Functions: • Interpret Contract and enter into SAP Contract Setup Form -     Analyze contract to determine setup requirements.  Work with stakeholders to collaborate on contract and setup requirements. Investigate and resolve issues to include billing labor category errors that have an impact on business management reporting and billing.  • Interact with Contract Administrator and other stakeholders on SAP Setup - Lead formal and informal contract kickoff meetings. Communicate effectively to address key setup questions and to avoid setup errors. Provide recommendations to contracts and business management to prevent issues with financial reporting, invoicing, and cash.                                                                         • Incorporate changes into the SAP S4 HANA system that reflect negotiated and agreed-upon contract parameters and guidelines. • Support requests for data by programs, customers, and company management. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree with no experience, Associate’s degree with 4 years • Understanding of government contracting. • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to manage large sets of data and create pivot tables, charts, and graphs to summarize information Preferred Qualifications:  Proficient in contract set up within SAP S4 HANA.   Salary Range: • Level 1: • Northridge: $63,000-$94,600 • Plymouth: $60,200- $90,200 • Mesa: $54,400-$81,600   campusjobs The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
