- H-1B has no fixed salary bar: the employer must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and area. Cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level. US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

- Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension
- Location: Remote, UK-based
- Start date: December 2026, including a handover period with the Head of Finance
- Competitive day rate
- Flexible scheduling

- Allocate cash receipts, chase overdue invoices and report on debtors and cash collection
SUPPLIER PAYMENTS AND EXPENSES
- Process supplier bills, run payment batches and answer supplier queries
- Review and approve employee expense claims against policy, and reconcile company cards (Pleo) including account coding and VAT codes.
PAYROLL
- Run monthly UK payroll through our payroll provider, including starters, leavers, changes, pensions and benefits
- Submit payment to the payroll provider on time.
VAT AND TAX COMPLIANCE
