Product Design Director, Growth & Acquisitions, Business Cards and Payments. We’re currently seeking a design leader to head our Growth & Acquisitions Design team for Business Cards & Payments.  Business Cards & Payments is on a mission to pave the path for businesses to do more business. We champion authenticity and healthy critique, in which we honor diversity of thought, create a culture of belonging, and elevate one another.  Role Expectations  As head of growth & acquisitions design,  you’ll lead a talented, cross-disciplinary team that help small and medium businesses find and adopt the right financial and software solutions for their business . You will collaborate deeply with brand, marketing, product, sales, and engineering teams to shape strategy, deliver products to market and run experiments at scale across platforms that are frequented by over 100+ million users.  This is a “break the mold” role to stretch beyond a single discipline. The ideal leader will blend sharp business acumen and creative energy to create rich brand experiences, drive product conversion, envision compelling software demos and build AI-powered lead generation tools. You will need to be on the bleeding edge of how AI is changing the way businesses do business–and how they discover, shop and buy products. Core responsibilities will include: Strategic Impact • Drive Growth & Go-to-Market: Shape go-to-market strategies for new products across credit cards and software, activating brand presence across multiple channels. • Experimentation & AI Innovation: Drive user research and in-market experimentation, and spearhead generative AI optimization and AI-powered lead generation tools for product discovery. • Omnichannel Experiences: Deliver and iterate on brand, product, and shopping pathways on capitalone.com. • Sales Enablement: Partner with sales teams to build compelling demos and tooling that empower both customers and internal sales teams. Team Leadership • Organization Scaling: Lead, mentor, and scale a cross-disciplinary team of 12–15 creatives and builders. • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate deeply with brand, marketing, product, sales, and engineering leaders to align strategy, performance metrics, and roadmaps. Business Experiences Design Leadership Team As part of the business experiences design leadership team, you will help inform B2B experiences across Capital One.
