About the Role As a Solutions Engineer , you will design innovative, scalable and commercially viable warehouse and fulfilment solutions for THG Fulfil’s enterprise clients. Working closely with customers, commercial teams, operations, engineering and technology specialists, you will translate complex operational requirements into practical warehouse designs that optimise capacity, throughput, productivity and cost efficiency. You will develop end-to-end solutions incorporating warehouse layouts, material flows, storage strategies, automation technologies and systems integration. The role will support both third-party automation opportunities and wider 3PL proposals, including the transition of enterprise customers into THG Fulfil facilities. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Solution Design • Design end-to-end warehouse and fulfilment solutions for complex enterprise customers, from initial concept through to detailed proposals. • Develop warehouse layouts, storage strategies, material flows, picking methodologies and operational processes. • Evaluate and incorporate automation technologies, including AutoStore, Libiao and Geek+ robotics, based on customer requirements. • Assess capacity, throughput, labour requirements and operational constraints to ensure solutions are scalable and deliverable. Customer Engagement & Requirements • Work with enterprise customers to understand operational requirements, order profiles, volumes, growth plans and service-level expectations. • Lead site visits, operational assessments and discovery workshops to gather requirements and identify opportunities for improvement. • Translate customer needs into clear technical specifications and tailor
