The Enterprise Applications and Architecture (EAA) team builds the internal platforms, systems, and workflows that help Coinbase operate effectively at scale. Within that space, this Product Manager role will focus on FP&A and adjacent finance workflows, with ownership across planning, forecasting, reporting, workflow automation, and the systems experience that finance teams rely on day to day. This is a high-ownership L5 PM role for a leader who can bring structure to a broad problem space and partner effectively across Finance, Engineering, Business Systems, Data, and Functional Architecture. The scope spans core planning workflows like budgeting, forecasting, headcount management, and close-adjacent processes, along with reporting, variance analysis, executive visibility, and platform-level improvements that make FP&A tooling more scalable, reliable, and AI-enabled over time. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): • Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for FP&A product surfaces and workflows across planning, reporting, and automation. • Partner closely with Finance and EAA leadership to define the future-state FP&A operating model and the product investments required to support it. • Drive improvements to budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and finance operating rhythms through better systems, workflows, and user experiences. • Improve reporting and insight delivery for finance and business leaders by shaping dashboards, variance analysis experiences, and decision-support tooling. • Lead platform-level product work that improves the scalability, maintainability, and interoperability of FP&A systems and workflows. • Identify and prioritize opportunities to use AI and workflow automation to reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and shorten planning and reporting cycles. • Translate ambiguous stakeholder needs into clear requirements, measurable outcomes, and sequenced delivery plans. • Operate as the product DRI across multiple teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, tradeoffs, timing, and business impact. • Define success metrics and use quantitative and qualitative signals to continuously improve outcomes for Finance users. What we look for in you (ie. job requirements): • 5+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of complex internal platforms, enterprise software, or workflow-heavy products. • Strong product judgment in cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and high expectations for execution. • Experience working on finance systems, planning platforms, enterprise workflows, or adjacent domains where process rigor and data quality matter. • Ability to deeply understand user pain points across both operational workflows and executive reporting use cases. • Strong analytical orientation with the ability to define metrics, evaluate tradeoffs, and use data to inform roadmap decisions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align technical and non-technical partners. • Demonstrated ability to move ambiguous problem spaces toward clear product strategy and execution. •
