US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

The Team
You will join the Operations division, supporting clients and business stakeholders across our traditional (equity and fixed income) and digital assets businesses. You will be a first point of contact for trade processing, settlement and reconciliation across both.
The Role
• Perform daily trade capture, confirmation and allocation for equities and fixed income.
• Process and confirm settlements across equities, fixed income and digital assets. Handle counterparty settlement requests and trade and settlement queries within agreed timeframes.
• Reconcile trades, transfers, positions and inventory daily across internal systems and external exchanges, custodians, banks and nostro accounts. Investigate and resolve breaks to closure.
• Monitor inventory and funding needs for settlement activity, and coordinate cash and asset movements with Treasury.
• Investigate and resolve regulatory reporting items.
• Manage the monthly and quarterly Broker Confirmation processes.
• Partner with the Trading Desk, Product, Client Service, Accounting, Risk and Compliance. Provide accurate, timely trade and settlement data, and inputs that help design pragmatic controls in a changing regulatory landscape.
• Assist in building new applications and help test during integrations.
• Track and deliver against operations KPIs, and follow processes designed for regulatory compliance.
• Escalate issues promptly, document procedures, and contribute to process improvement and automation as the business scales.
Requirements
• 2–5 years in trade operations, middle office or settlements at a broker-dealer, trading firm, hedge fund, investment bank or digital assets firm.
• Strong knowledge of equity and fixed income trade processing and the full trade lifecycle (execution, confirmation, allocation, settlement, reconciliation), including what it takes to close a break.
• Exposure to digital asset operations, such as on-chain transfers, wallet operations, exchange and custodian workflows, or stablecoin settlement, and genuine interest in the space.
• Experience with allocation platforms, Omgeo Central Trade Matching and the FIX protocol.
• Experience working with large data sets and spreadsheets. You can reconcile across multiple systems and spot discrepancies quickly.
• Self-motivated, extremely organized, and highly accurate when handling asset movements and client-impacting processes.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and the judgment to escalate the right issues at the right time.
• BA/BS degree in Finance or a similar major.
Nice to Have
• Familiarity with reconciliation or post-trade tooling.
• Experience at a prime broker, clearing firm or other regulated institution, with exposure to derivatives and regulatory reporting.
