Vault Unit Manager - Onsite Job Description: As a Vault Unit Manager within Capital One Auto, you will lead an onsite team of 15+ agents who are responsible for the processing, storage, and maintenance of funded auto contracts within the Vault. This person will provide ongoing team member development, champion continuous process improvements, manage strategic initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional business partners to problem-solve and execute complex projects.  Responsibilities: • Accountable for achieving business goals for a team of up to 15+ associates. • Provide continuous feedback and coaching to associates • Oversee day-to-day vault operations, including core workflows such as processing  paper contracts through their entire loan lifecycle, preparing Credit Bureau Reporting dispute letters, auditing existing contracts, and fulfilling ad-hoc requests from the department’s shared email inbox.  • Define and measure performance metrics and clearly communicate to team associates • Prepare and deliver performance reviews for direct reports. • Motivate and develop associates and help them achieve their career aspirations. • Manage business level metrics to high efficiency standards. • Share in the accountability for a business level function team (Logistics, quality, innovation, morale). • Execute flawless management of projects assigned to the unit. • Ensure timely administrative responsibilities of time cards, spreadsheets, team meetings, etc. • Review escalations daily to solve complex issues and address items with delays. • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners. • Review reporting on team and individual levels to measure performance impact. Location: Plano, TX (Plano 5) - This role is an essential position and requires onsite attendance. This team currently operates with 5 days in the office. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm CT Basic Qualifications: • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification • At least 2 years of experience in people management • At least 2 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications: • At least 3 years of experience in people management • At least 2 years of experience in an operational role within the financial services industry • At least 2 years of experience in process management At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (e.g. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, E-3, and O-1, or any other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer). The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Plano, TX: $80,800 - $92,200 for Unit Manager                     Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
