It’s still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us! 💰 Our Finance team The Finance team ensures Joko's financial health and long-term success. We manage everything from financial planning and accounting to financing and cash management. We make sure every euro is put to its best use, working closely with all teams, we provide the insights and structure needed to scale efficiently. As we scale, we're splitting Finance into three specialized poles: FP&A , Finance Operations , and Procurement , each with its own ressources. Today, the team consists of 2 people but are actively recruiting toward a target organization of 7. Most of it is still to be hired and built — by you. You will report to Quentin , our COO. ✨ Why this role is special • You build the function instead of inheriting it. The target organization — FP&A, Finance Operations, Procurement — exists on paper and almost nothing of it is built. You recruit the team, set the standards, and decide how Finance operates for the next stage of the company. The role is designed to grow into VP Finance once the function is in place. • You get a genuinely 360 scope. Planning, accounting close, cash, financing, multi-entity structuring, procurement, and investor relations all sit with you — across multiple business lines, in France, Spain, and the US, with more markets coming. Very few finance leaders get that full surface at this stage. • You join a profitable company that is moving fast. Joko is already profitable and keeps growing quickly, with new business lines and countries opening. You build a finance function for a company on the offensive, not one managing a slowdown. • You sit at the table where the decisions are made. You partner directly with the COO and the co-founders on market expansion, investment allocation, and business line priorities, with the numbers you built as the basis of the discussion. 🎯 What you will do This is a builder role. We are looking for a finance leader who runs the core of Finance hands-on today and builds the team that will run it tomorrow. Over the next two years, your mandate is to recruit the people the function is missing, set up the three poles, and put in place the processes that let you step back from the day-to-day. We prefer to say it upfront: if what excites you is leading a team that already exists, this is not the role. If you want to build one on solid foundations and grow with it, it is a great one. Your responsibilities will include: • Build and lead the Finance team: manage and develop the current 2 team, recruit the next hires across FP&A, Finance Operations, and Procurement, and set how the team works; • Own planning and reporting: budget, forecast, and actuals vs. budget across all business lines (Online, Card-Linked, Gift Cards) and geographies. Our modeling combines elasticity-based CAC projections, cohort-based revenue models, and granular bottom-up cost budgets — you will own it, keep improving it. • Run the accounting close and controls: monthly and annual closing wit
