Kitting Area Manager - all genders

The Role (What's in the Box) Do you want to take overall responsibility for a larger production operation, where you drive development, efficiency improvement and analysis of our operations with a focus on production flow? As Area Manager, you have overall responsibility for a department of about 100 employees. Below you are two managers who in turn are responsible for, among others, team leaders and line leaders. You have overall responsibility for staff, budget and work environment, and you report to the Production Manager. The role is strategic, and you lead mainly through your managers. You work on the development of the operation, follow up KPIs and goals, and make sure the organization has the right conditions to achieve its results. What You'll Do (The Recipe) You will, among other things: • Lead, coach and develop subordinate managers. • Have overall responsibility for staff, budget and work environment. • Follow up KPIs, results and the development of the operation. • Drive improvement work and development at a strategic level. • Be a clear role model and culture carrier for the organization. • Work closely with the Production Manager, HR and other functions. • Make decisions, prioritize and delegate responsibility. • Contribute to the recruitment, onboarding and development of employees. • Ensure structure, clarity and a good working climate. What You'll Bring (Your Ingredients) We are looking for someone with several years of experience in leadership within production, industry, logistics or other process-driven operations. You have experience of leading larger groups and, above all, of leading other leaders, and you have solid experience of working analytically and of identifying and driving efficiency improvements in a production environment. As a person, you are confident, clear and trustworthy. You can see the big picture, understand figures and results, and read between the lines to identify what needs to be developed. You are a natural leader whom others look up to and trust. You dare to make decisions, ask the right questions and delegate responsibility. We would like you to have: • Experience of leading larger, complex organizations, with the ability to work cross-functionally and with a focus on the whole production process (End2End). • Experience of driving efficiency improvement processes in a production environment. • Experience of leading and developing managers. • Good experience of working towards goals and KPIs. • Experience of responsibility for staff, work environment and budget. • A coaching and structured leadership style. • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a must-have for this role. • Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. • A B driving licence (Swedish category B). Experience from the food industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
