- H-1B has no fixed salary bar: the employer must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and area. Cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level. US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About The Role
Our Passenger team builds the app our clients use every day and makes journey booking easy and fast: from pickup and boarding, including airport pickups, to concierge requests and changes on the go.
We’re looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join a team that owns its product areas end to end and focuses on what matters: clean, modular, well-tested code and polished, responsive interfaces, shipped continuously.
Our apps are written in Swift. The stack includes UIKit, The Composable Architecture, Swift Concurrency and Combine, and a modular codebase built with Tuist. Releases are automated with GitHub Actions and Fastlane.
Our interview process includes a recruiter screen, an iOS platform interview and a live coding session in Swift. Senior candidates also complete a structured review of past experience and achievements.
Responsibilities
• Build and ship new features in our iOS app in Swift, owning them from technical design to release and further development.
• Design clean, modular and testable code with clear responsibilities and extension points, and help evolve the app architecture.
• Build polished, responsive interfaces and animations that match our design standards.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers and QA to turn product requirements into concrete technical solutions.
• Keep the app fast and reliable: improve performance, stability, test coverage and production monitoring.
Requirements
• 5+ years of professional native iOS development, including recent roles, building user-facing apps used in production.
• In-depth knowledge Swift, ARC, concurrency (GCD and Swift Concurrency) and the UIKit rendering and layout model
• Ability to structure a solution, choose the right level of abstraction and clearly explain trade-offs.
• Intermediate (B1) English proficiency or higher. You should be comfortable debating technical trade-offs with your peers.

• Office-based role in Nicosia, four days a week with flexible start and finish times, plus one remote day of your choice
