About the role
Position Overview:
As a Client Relationship Manager within Global Workplace Programs (GWP) , you serve as a strategic partner to business and functional leaders, representing the full breadth of GWP capabilities and connecting business and workforce priorities to workplace, location, real estate, and service solutions . You will develop a deep understanding of each client’s business strategy, workforce plans, operating requirements, and emerging needs, translating them into actionable GWP strategies that deliver measurable enterprise value.
You will work across the full GWP portfolio, including portfolio strategy and planning, workplace and occupancy strategy, transactions, workplace design and construction, project and capital delivery, facilities management, and workplace experience . Your role is to bring these capabilities together as an integrated solution rather than requiring the business to navigate individual GWP functions. This aligns with GWP’s emerging operating model, which connects portfolio strategy, transactions, design, project delivery, facilities management, and workplace/occupancy strategy.
The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, strategic thinking, relationship leadership, operational discipline, and an enterprise mindset . You will proactively identify opportunities, anticipate changing business and workforce requirements, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and help leaders understand the workplace and real estate implications of their decisions. Success requires the ability to balance business needs, employee experience, financial performance, operational requirements, risk, and long-term portfolio strategy .
You will operate in a highly matrixed environment, partnering across GWP, Human Resources, Finance, Enterprise Technology, Procurement, Security, Legal, and business leadership , as well as external service partners. You must be able to build credibility and trust at all levels, influence without direct authority, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and convert business requirements into clear, actionable workplace and real estate solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and drive long-range workplace and space planning strategies for highly complex, cross-regional business portfolios, aligning physical environment decisions with organizational growth and workforce planning signals
• Serve as the primary strategic interface between Global Workplace Services and business leaders, translating business objectives into workplace requirements and portfolio recommendations
• Identify and resolve ambiguous, cross-functional workplace challenges by synthesizing data from space utilization systems, headcount forecasts, and business unit roadmaps
• Influence capital investment decisions and workplace program prioritization by building compelling, data-driven business cases for senior and executive stakeholders
• Establish and evolve processes that enable cross-functional teams to rapidly assess and respond to changes in business conditions, workforce distribution, or portfolio constraints
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Real Estate, Facilities, HR, Finance, and business unit leaders to ensure workplace solutions are integrated with broader organizational planning cycles
• Anticipate disruptions to the global workplace portfolio — including organizational restructuring, hybrid work shifts, or regional expansion — and develop contingency plans that maintain operational continuity
• Contribute to the development of Global Workplace Services organization strategy by identifying emerging trends in workplace design, space utilization, and employee experience
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, architecture, planning, operations
