No salary bar for this route
H-1B has no fixed salary bar: the employer must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and area. Cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level. US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role

Headquarters: Remote Why AssemblyAI AssemblyAI builds the best-in-class Voice AI models powering the next generation of voice applications. We have a lab, and we also power our own models in our own proprietary inference environment. Our models serve 500M+ inference calls monthly, and process nearly 2 million hours of audio daily. The Voice AI space is at an inflection point; we’re looking for the best talent we can find to join a rapidly scaling team that's defining the future of the industry. We are one of the most capital-efficient AI companies on the planet - and are rapidly approaching $1M ARR per employee. We sit among the top 5 most revenue-dense teams within the fastest-growing AI companies today. We have thousands of customers building with us including the top startups and world-renowned enterprises, and are serving at tremendous scale: we process nearly 2 million hours of audio daily and handle more than 15 million API calls every day. This is a rare growth-stage opportunity where the business is proven, the revenue is durable, and the growth trajectory is steep and getting steeper. We have a super flat culture and expect our employees to be deeply intimate with the details at all levels. If you've ever felt buried under layers of bureaucracy, starved of real ownership, or frustrated watching your work disappear into a slow-moving org, AssemblyAI is built differently. The company operates as a true meritocracy, with no heavy planning or approval processes and no gatekeeping on the tools or information you need. For anyone who genuinely cares about voice AI, not as a trend to chase, but as a technology to build, this is the place where the most interesting problems at the most interesting scale are being solved by a team small enough that you'll actually know everyone's name. About the role: AssemblyAI is building the leading Voice AI infrastructure platform, and our go-to-market team is growing fast. We’re looking for a GTM Recruiter to help us hire the Account Executives, BDRs, Customer Success, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Marketers who bring our models to developers and enterprises around the world. You’ll own a portfolio of GTM reqs from first conversation to signed offer, working closely with our GTM Recruiting Lead and hiring managers across Sales, Customer Solutions, and Marketing. It’s a high-volume, high-bar role: we’re hiring a lot of people, and every one of them needs to be great. AI is one of the most competitive talent markets in tech. Great GTM people have a lot of options, and many of them aren’t actively looking. This role is about finding them, starting real conversations, and showing them why AssemblyAI is worth the move. What You’ll Do • Own full-cycle recruiting for 5-6 open GTM roles at a time, from intake and sourcing through offer and close • Source proactively through LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, referrals, communities, events, and AI-assisted tools • Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate market research, craft tailored candidate messaging, and optimize workflow velocity • Run Zoom screens that assess for what matters in each role (pipeline generation, technical fluency, coachability) and share crisp, decision-ready feedback • Partner with hiring managers to calibrate profiles, run interview loops in Greenhouse, and keep decisions moving • Manage offers end to end, including OTE and commission conversations, competing offers, and closing • Keep Greenhouse clean and current so the team can trust the funnel data • Deliver a candidate experience people talk about — fast, transparent, and human, whether or not they join • You’ll thrive here if you enjoy building, move quickly, and like finding creative ways to solve hard hiring problems. What You’ll Need • 3+ years of full-c
