US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role
Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $400B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients.
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Manager, Payment Operations to lead accounts payable and billing and collections as one function. You'll own procure-to-pay and order-to-cash from end to end, with teams across the US, the Philippines and Colombia.
This is an accounting-led role. AP and AR sit at the start of our financial data. When an invoice gets paid without a PO, or a bill goes out at the wrong price, the problem lands in the general ledger weeks later. We want a leader who understands the accounting impact of every transaction and builds controls to get the data right at the source.
Dandy runs high-volume physical operations: two US manufacturing labs, dental practice and DSO customers in several countries, a large vendor base and multiple legal entities. You'll bring accounting rigor and scale to the teams behind every dollar in and out.
What you'll do
Accounts Payable
•
Own the full procure-to-pay cycle: vendor setup, invoice processing, PO matching, approvals and payment runs.
•
Enforce PO compliance and three-way match with Procurement and Operations.
•
Manage domestic and international vendor payments across entities and currencies, in partnership with Treasury.
•
Own vendor master data quality and 1099 reporting.
Billing and Collections
•
Own billing accuracy, credit controls and pricing controls across practice and DSO accounts.
•
Run cash application and collections, including a clear process for large DSO accounts agreed with Account Management.
•
Support the bad debt reserve with aging analysis and collection forecasts.
Controls and Close
•
Design and document controls over procure-to-pay and order-to-cash, including segregation of duties, built to public company audit standards.
•
Deliver AP and AR subledger reconciliations, accruals and cut-off on the close calendar.
•
Serve as the main contact for auditors on AP and AR testing.
Team and Systems
•
Lead the AP and billing and collections teams, including managers and team leads, with clear SOPs, training and quality checks.
•
Automate invoice capture, approvals and collections workflows in NetSuite and related tools.
•
Set and report on core metrics: DSO, aged receivables, PO match rate, payment accuracy and cost per transaction.
What success looks like in year one
•
Every invoice paid against an approved PO or a documented exception.
•
A working collections process for aged receivables and a lower DSO.
•
AP and AR reconciliations complete early in the close, with no audit adjustments.
•
Documented SOPs and controls for every core AP and AR process.
What we're looking for
•
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
•
8+ years of experience, including general ledger or public accounting, and 3+ years leading AP, AR or finance shared services.
•
Hands-on knowledge of how AP and AR transactions hit the general ledger, accruals and revenue.
•
Experience in an operational business with high transaction volume: manufacturing, distribution, healthcare services or logistics.
•
Experience leading offshore or BPO teams across time zones.
•
A track record of building controls and passing audits, ideally under SOX or PCAOB standards.
•
Multi-entity and multi-currency experience.
•
