About the Team
The Platform Marketing team drives the strategy and go-to-market for Workday's Trusted Agent Platform and the Workday developer platform (Workday Build). Teh team consists of product marketers, developer marketers, and developer relations who support Extend, Data Cloud, the AI Platform, and more. We work closely with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to bring platform capabilities to market and accelerate adoption across the Workday ecosystem.
About the Role
We're looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to be the operational backbone of the Platform Marketing org -- running the programs, processes, and systems that keep high-output teams moving fast and in sync. This role supports the full Platform Marketing organization across CIO Narrative, Platform Product Marketing, Platform GTM, and Developer Marketing & Developer Relations.
You will work across this team, driving launch coordination, reporting, cross-functional process management, customer story capture, and event operations.
This is not a back-office role. You will be embedded in the team's most important workstreams -- launches, Rising prep, DevCon coordination, field enablement rollouts -- and you will be the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll work closely with senior leaders and individual contributors across the team.
Success in this role will be measured through impact across operational effectiveness, program execution, and team leverage. Example outcomes include:
Operational Effectiveness & Program Execution: Ensure platform launches, campaigns, and events ship on time and fully coordinated, with clear ownership, milestones, and status visibility at every stage.
Reporting & Visibility Stand up and maintain dashboards and reporting cadences that give leadership a real-time view of team output, launch status, adoption metrics, and customer story pipeline.
You will be responsible for:
1. Launch & Program Coordination
• Own operational coordination for platform product launches across PMK, product, field, and campaigns.
• Maintain launch trackers and status dashboards.
2. Cross-Functional Process Management
• Build and run the handoff processes across Platform Marketing and with peer teams, ensuring assets, messaging, and enablement flow smoothly from creation to deployment.
• Identify recurring friction points in cross-functional workflows and propose fixes.
3. Reporting, Dashboards & Metrics
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards that track team output, key metrics, and effectiveness.
• Own the regular reporting cadence -- compiling data, surfacing insights, and
