About the role
The role
From day one you’ll enable international coordination and implementation of strategic product priorities by creating, standardising and optimising processes across central and local physical product teams and other stakeholders. The role will require a mix of process improvement, change management, technical understanding, project management and stakeholder management skills. Not only will you be an ambassador of Product Operations Excellence, but also champion the value of process automation and optimization, to set a solid basis for growth.
Above all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better. We believe there are many different ways of developing skills and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.
What you’ll do
• Shape the operating model: Diagnose end-to-end processes across central and local Product teams and adjacent functions (Procurement, FSQA, Production).
• Design and scale standards: Own process frameworks, SOPs and rollout "golden standards" that teams across markets adopt. Challenge and iterate existing policies and guidelines when they no longer fit the business.
• Lead cross-market change: Drive organizational change across markets and functions, balancing central consistency with local needs. Build alignment with senior stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and ensure a constant flow of information.
• Lead programs and automation: Own complex automation and tooling initiatives from a commercial perspective. Sign off on tooling designs and business cases, guide Tech teams on scope, edge cases and interdependencies, and take part in Steering Committees. On top of that, identify where AI can reshape Product Operations processes, build the business cases and prototypes, and deploy the successful tools across markets and teams.
• Lead under uncertainty: Scope and drive short- and long-term programs from broadly defined outcomes. Develop plan Bs and alternative solutions when priorities shift, and turn ambiguous problems into manageable, measurable workstreams.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years minimum experience in Product Operations or Operational/Process Excellence; passion for food or experience within Food/FMCG industry or consultancy is a plus
• Recognized expertise in process excellence, change management and program delivery, with advanced knowledge of methodologies, current best practices and industry trends. You continuously challenge the status quo and bring new ideas to life.
• Highly numerate and commercially minded, able to build rigorous, objective business cases and to judge technical designs with confidence.
• A strong stakeholder leader who manages global and local stakeholders at all levels, aligns teams across markets, and communicates clearly to different audiences.
• Autonomous and outcome-driven: you manage scope and timelines independently, prioritize relentlessly, and are comfortable being challenged on the soundness of your work.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, demanding and data-driven environment.
• Curious about AI and automation: you actively explore how AI can reshape processes, assess its impact rigorously, and lead teams to adopt it where it creates measurable value.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier university, preferably in business, management, operations or a related field. Six Sigma Belt or PMP certification is a big plus.
