The Opportunity This position works out of our Maple Grove, MN location in the Electrophysiology Medical Device division. In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. We are seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design, governance, and optimization of enterprise data platforms, integrations, and data assets that support critical business applications and strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for establishing enterprise data architecture standards, advancing data governance and lifecycle management practices, and ensuring data is secure, reliable, scalable, and accessible across the organization. Partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders, the Enterprise Data Architect will drive data strategy, platform modernization, automation, and continuous improvement to deliver trusted data solutions that support operational excellence and business growth. What You'll Work On • Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data architecture, integration frameworks, databases, and data platforms to deliver scalable, reliable business solutions. • Design and implement data pipelines, integrations, migrations, transformations, and automation capabilities that improve efficiency, performance, and data accessibility. • Establish and maintain architectural standards, development methodologies, and best practices that promote scalability, consistency, maintainability, and operational excellence. • Lead enterprise data governance and Data Lifecycle Management activities, including data quality, stewardship, retention, auditing, validation, and change control. • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define and implement data standards that improve data integrity, consistency, and trust across enterprise systems. • Design, support, and optimize the data platforms, integrations, and data assets that enable critic
