US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role

Summary of the Role: As Marketing Coordinator at Maze , an AI-native code security company, you'll support a fast-moving marketing team across three areas: events, digital and content, and marketing operations. It's a hands-on role where you'll pick up the tasks the team hands off and learn how a CMS, a marketing automation platform, events, content and social all fit together. You don't need marketing experience. We're looking for a go-getter who's organized, reliable and comfortable using AI tools to get work done. We'll show you some of the ropes and give you templates where we have them, but you'll figure a lot out on your own. It's a good fit for a student or someone starting out in marketing who wants to see how a startup marketing team works from the inside. Your Contributions to Our Journey: • Events • Order swag restocks from our warehouse and track shipments to and from events • Build event landing pages and invite emails in HubSpot from our templates • Send invite reminders, track RSVPs and follow up with guests • Upload attendee lists into HubSpot after each event • Help at a local event now and then if you live nearby (optional) • Digital, content and social • Update pages on our website through our CMS • Build and schedule marketing emails in HubSpot • Schedule social posts and capture photos and clips at events • Proofread drafts and repurpose content into new formats • Marketing operations • Build and clean up lists in HubSpot • Keep marketing tasks up to date in Linear • Pick up small projects the team hands off What You Need to Be Successful: • Works things out. You try first, and ask a clear question when something doesn't fit the template. • Organized and detail-oriented. You catch the small mistakes before anything goes out. • Reliable. When you take something on, it's done when you said it would be. • Comfortable with AI tools. You use them to get work done faster, or you're keen to learn. • Happy following a template or checklist, and asking questions when something doesn't fit. • Available 10 to 20 hours a week, with some flexibility in the weeks before big launches, events, or campaigns. • Nice to have: • Any marketing experience, even a class, club or personal project • You've used HubSpot, WordPress, Figma, Canva or Google Sheets • You've helped organize an event of any size • You follow social and marketing trends closely Why Join Us: • Learn by doing: You'll get hands-on with a CMS, marketing automation, events, content and social, working with a fast-moving, AI-native marketing team. • Training included: Every task comes with a template and someone to show you how it's done. This is an ideal role for someone interested in a career in marketing or tech start-ups. • AI × cybersecurity: Work at the intersection of generative AI and security, at a well-funded Series A startup. • Flexible hours: Work around school, another job or other commitments. • Room to grow: We're scaling fast, and people who do good work here get more responsibility.
