Business Analytics Senior Advisor - Evernorth Health Services - ENCORE

*Please note this role is open to retirees of The Cigna Group only* Position Summary The Business Analytics Senior Advisor leads complex healthcare and pharmacy analytics work and turns data into clear recommendations for business leaders. This senior individual contributor works independently, guides other analysts, and partners across teams to improve operations, affordability, service, and customer outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Lead complex analytics projects from business question through implementation and measurement. • Analyze healthcare, pharmacy, claims, operational, and financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. • Translate business needs into analytical approaches, requirements, key performance indicators, and actionable recommendations. • Develop or oversee dashboards, forecasting models, reports, and decision-support tools. • Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and nontechnical audiences. • Partner with operations, technology, finance, product, and other teams to deliver analytical solutions. • Establish standards for data quality, validation, documentation, privacy, security, and reproducibility. • Mentor analysts, review analytical work, and create reusable methods, templates, and training materials. • Identify practical opportunities to use automation, predictive analytics, and artificial intelligence. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience. • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in business analytics, healthcare analytics, pharmacy operations, business intelligence, or a related field. • Experience leading complex analytical initiatives and translating business needs into data solutions. • Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to influence decisions. • Advanced SQL experience and experience analyzing large healthcare, pharmacy, claims, operational, or financial datasets. • Experience with dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Advanced Excel. • Experience defining business rules, key performance indicators, analytical methods, and quality-control processes. • Strong communication, stakeholder-management, project-leadership, and mentoring skills. • Professionals returning to the workforce through an established returnship or Encore program are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in specialty pharmacy, pharmacy benefit management, claims, patient services, provider data, or healthcare operations. • Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata, or SAS. • Experience with Python, R, PySpark, predictive modeling, automation, or artificial intelligence. • Experience mentoring analysts or providing technical direction without direct reporting authority If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
