Role Overview
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working closely with other product managers, engineers, UX designers, researchers, and data professionals. Your role involves creating and executing a vision for a product area, constantly learning from our customers, and iterating to improve the user experience. You will also collaborate with our UX team, composed of product designers, researchers, and writers.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who can envision GetYourGuide beyond its current state, champion our users' voices, and execute a compelling vision.
Successful PMs at GetYourGuide bring a growth mindset and drive business and customer impact by identifying opportunities, getting buy-in from your stakeholders, and executing with urgency.
Team Mission
The Inventory teams own the systems, processes, and logic behind how suppliers manage their availability and prices with GetYourGuide, along with a set of supplier-facing solutions. Our goal is to run this efficiently and reliably for a wide range of suppliers and destinations.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the strategy for a product area in one of our three Inventory teams. Working with an Engineering Manager, engineers, a product designer, and an analyst, you will shape the systems, flows, and logic behind availability and pricing, as well as the solutions suppliers use every day.
This is a cross-functional space. You will work closely with Care, Finance, Business Operations, Sales, and other teams across GetYourGuide, and with suppliers directly.
We are looking for a product manager who thinks in systems, brings strategic clarity and executional rigor, and enjoys untangling complex problems.
What You'll Do
• Ownership: Develop and own a 12+ month strategy for your product area, set clear, measurable goals, and take full responsibility for outcomes. Identify where the non-incremental impact sits and sequence the roadmap to reach it.
• Supplier empathy: Build a deep understanding of suppliers: their business, their needs, and the problems they face. Turn those insights into hypotheses, and represent supplier needs at every level of the organization.
• Prioritization: Analyze supplier and traveler feedback, market trends, and business metrics to choose the few problems that matter most. Be explicit about what we will not build, and make clear decisions on sequencing to maximize impact and learning.
• Systems thinking: Shape the systems, processes, and logic behind availability and pricing so they scale and run efficiently for suppliers and GetYourGuide.
• Collaboration: Co-create solutions with your team and with partners across the company. Work together to unlock new opportunities for suppliers and for GetYourGuide.
• Communication: Connect your roadmap to the company’s mission and create genuine excitement for the long-term vision, with your team, across functions, and with executive leadership.
• Experimentation: Plan and execute experiments to test hypotheses. Use the results to evaluate your team’s investment and inform future product decisions.
• Leadership: Act with openness and transparency with your team and peers, and coach others on product craft.
