What Is the Opportunity?
The GenBI Insights Platform is one of the most strategically ambitious initiatives within EDDA — and it is already in motion. The target state conceptual architecture exists. Early implementation work is underway, and the platform's foundational direction has been set with intention. What comes next is where the real architectural work begins: proving out the architecture through implementation, refining it where reality pushes back on theory, and advancing the platform's capabilities into territory that remains genuinely complex.
The Lead Architect for this platform will report directly to the AVP of Data Products and Enablement and serve as the primary architectural authority for the GenBI Insights Platform — owning its reference architecture, driving its technical strategy, and ensuring that as the platform matures and expands, it does so on a foundation that is coherent, production-hardened, observable, and trustworthy. You will collaborate closely with Line of Business architecture and engineering teams across the enterprise, ensuring the platform's architecture remains aligned with — and additive to — the broader technology landscape it operates within.
This is a role for an architect who is as rigorous about production reliability and observability as they are energized by advancing a platform that is genuinely breaking new ground for the enterprise. The GenBI Insights Platform has a strong architectural foundation and genuine organizational momentum behind it. The work ahead — proving the architecture through implementation, hardening capabilities for production, and advancing the platform into agentic territory — is substantial, consequential, and technically rich. This is not a maintenance role or a steady-state assignment. It is the work of taking something with real potential and making sure the architecture is equal to it.
The foundation is set. The harder, more interesting work is what comes next. What Will You Do?
• Scope:
• You will own the reference architecture for the GenBI Insights Platform as it moves from concept through implementation and into ongoing capability expansion — refining it as the platform encounters real-world complexity, extending it as new capabilities are brought into scope, making buy vs build decisions and maintaining its coherence as the technology landscape it depends on continues to evolve.
• You will set the architectural standards the platform is built to and provide the technical direction that ensures every new component strengthens rather than complicates the overall design.
• You will drive the architectural strategy for the platform's AI capabilities with a sustained focus on what it takes to move from early implementation to prod
