With a wide variety of people, global locations, technologies and products, 3M is a place where you can collaborate with other curious, creative 3Mers.   The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a member of IT GRC, you will play a key role in maintaining 3M’s SOX compliance.  It will challenge you to quickly learn new technologies and processes, cultivate partnerships across the organization, critically think through risks and controls, assess effectiveness of those controls, and influence others to take action. Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description.  Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.  • Support SOX ITGC compliance by rationalizing IT asset controls, designing IT and application controls, documenting system and process controls, and assisting control owners with remediation of identified deficiencies. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT policies, standards, procedures, and control matrices for SOX compliance, while providing support and training to IT and business teams on SOX IT control requirements and best practices. • Track SOX IT control execution, testing results, compliance status, identified deficiencies, and remediation efforts to support timely resolution and effective reporting. • Collaborate with control owners, internal audit, external auditors, IT, and business teams to support effective SOX IT control implementation, testing coordination, communication, and audit execution. • Support control owners in continuously improving SOX IT controls and processes while ensuring risks are effectively mitigated. • Strong understanding of ITGC frameworks and best practices, including COSO, COBIT, and ITIL. Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree or professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC preferred. • 7+ years of IT audit or compliance experience with strong SOX, ITGC, application controls knowledge, and preferred GRC tool experience. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and control assessment skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to navigate ambiguity, build trusted relationships, analyse data, and influence outcomes across levels.
