Staff Product Manager, Core App Experience

As a Staff Product Manager for our Core App Experience team, you will be responsible for the app-wide systems, states, and shared surfaces that make the app feel coherent for all users. You will partner with peers in engineering and product design to simplify foundational experiences and build frameworks and patterns that make the app easier to use, adapt, and extend. This role will appeal to you if you enjoy: • Building systems that make the app experience better for 58M+ daily users • Balancing investing for the long-term with launches that make the experience better today • Working with PMs across the company to understand their needs, while still holding a high bar for the overall app experience • Bringing clarity and impact to an ambiguous problem space 🧠 You will... • Own core mechanics, surfaces, and functionality in the app, like user accounts, home messages, and session end • Improve product quality with quick interventions that address acute pain points • Build systems and frameworks that balance the needs for an A+ app experience with individual product teams’ goals ✅ You have... • Built systems and frameworks that improve quality at a major mobile product company • Experience turning a broad mandate into a high-ROI roadmap with a mix of near-term launches and long-term investments • An extremely high bar for quality and the product sense to match • The drive to fix problems you see, even if they don’t fit neatly into your scope The offered salary is dependent upon several factors, including work experience, skills, and internal peer comparisons. The posted range is subject to change in the future. For this role, base salary is supplemented by equity compensation.
