Art Director

Kettle is a team of passionate, fearless creatives focused on delivering great ideas, redefining best-practices, and providing new opportunities for our clients. We are looking for an Art Director to work on a global fitness client running and concepting for their social media accounts. In this role, you’ll partner with our Creative, Production, and client teams to design best-in-class social and digital design ideas. If the term conceptual digital design and detailed execution resonates, then this role may be for you. Must be located in Los Angeles, CA, and be able to occasionally go onsite to our client’s offices in Culver City. Candidates should have: • Proven experience in digital design and art direction, especially for social media, and the ability to create pixel perfect designs while innovating work • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional partners, including design, copy, motion, production, and account partners • Strong client collaboration and management skills, with the ability to present design work internally and to senior level clients • Mastery in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Keynote, proficiency in Figma and ideally Sketch, additional motion and prototyping software is a plus • Experience with fitness, wellness, and/or sports clients preferred • Lives and breaths the latest and greatest across social media We’d like to know that you can: • Create differentiating, modern, on-brand digital design solutions—it’s all about meeting the challenge and then bringing something extra to the table • Communicate and present confidently–speaking to design solutions and describing web interactions clearly to your team and clients • Stay on top of best design practices and technologies, and see opportunities to creatively incorporate industry trends to elevate design and user experience • Embrace an agile design process and set new standards • Be both a team member and a proactive individual contributor • Accept and incorporate constructive feedback in your designs The target range of base compensation for this role is $110k - $140k. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
