About the role

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive. Lyft Ads’ vision is to build the largest transportation media network. We leverage media to elevate the transportation experience for our riders while building an exciting and sustainable advertising business. Our advertising opportunities include Lyft in-app homepage and in-ride products, off-platform audience extension retargeting, and IRL experiential executions. Our work is fun, challenging, and rewarding, and we’re looking for someone who’s excited to help grow our partnerships. As an Associate Account Manager, you’ll report to the East Coast Account Management Lead and partner directly with Account Executives to plan and execute ad campaigns. You’ll support campaigns from pitch through wrap, working across Sales, Ad Ops, and other teams to keep everything running smoothly. You will help improve processes and tools in order to facilitate better day-to-day operations and efficiencies for our sales team. We are looking for individuals who love solving interesting problems, are highly adaptable, and care deeply about customer satisfaction. As you grow, you’ll start managing a few accounts independently and take on more direct client communication. Responsibilities: • Pre-sales planning: Support sales team in RFP fulfillment and inventory management, including forecasting ad inventory against goals and checking takeover/events calendar. • Data hygiene: Keep pitched and booked inventory and campaign data accurate across internal systems and CRMs. • Post-sales execution: Own day-to-day post-sale tasks including smooth contract execution, creative services support, and campaign reporting. • Cross-functional liaison: Coordinate with Ad Operations, Legal, Product, Engineering, and other teams to ensure all external and internal needs are adequately met. • Ad campaign trafficking and optimization: Partner with Ad Operations to manage direct ad campaigns via internal planning tools and ad-server, including proper ticketing, set-up, scheduling, daily pacing and complete delivery based on Insertion Order parameters. • Measurement and reporting: Build regular campaign reports and wrap reports, share insights with advertisers and internal teams, and support measurement studies where applicable. • Billing: Coordinate with Lyft Billing at the end of each billing cycle on campaign totals and ensure invoices are generated and delivered to our advertising partners. • Client relationships: Join the Account Executive in client and agency meetings to start building relationships, with the opportunity to take a bigger role in client conversations over time. • Product knowledge: Learn and eventually become an expert in the full Lyft Ads product suite as well as targeting and measurement capabilities. Experience: • BA/BS degree and 2+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, media planning or campaign management. • Proficient in Google Suite products, particularly Google Sheets and Drive. • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. • Exhibits outstanding attention to detail. • Excels at multitasking and is comfortable managing several campaigns throughout the ad life cycle at once. • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations for sales teams and clients. • Consistently self-motivated and proactive in finding new solutions before being asked. • Exposure to ad serving solutions is a plus. Benefits: • Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolled • Mental health benefits • Family building benefits • Child care and pet
