Position Responsibilities:  Experienced (Level 3) • Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs • Analyzes results and performs design reviews • Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). • Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities • Develops basic statements of work • Participates in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection • Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design • Works under general direction Lead (Level 4) • Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs • Analyzes results and performs design reviews • Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews • Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests) • Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities • Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets • Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection • Works under minimal direction Senior (Level 5) • Provides guidance in the development of cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs • Provides direction used by multiple teams to analyze complex results and performs design reviews • Provides guidance in engineering design disposition on discrepancies • Defines processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities • Provides direction used by multiple teams to develop complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets • Directs the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection • Directs the development of functional and physical design requirements to ensure complete integrated design architecture • Assesses and resolves product/process issues through the product lifecycle • Leads research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions • Directs cross-functional teams to analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances • Leads investigations into complex multidiscipline system related events • Uses innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations • Analyzes reported problems for potential safety issues This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
