We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Production Operations Specialist (Environmental Testing) to join our dynamic team in El Segundo, California . This position's internal job code is Production Operations Specialist. Our team is currently hiring a level 3. Position Responsibilities: • Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing processes and methods that comply with company policies and procedures, improves production efficiency, and optimizes product quality • Monitors, assesses, and provides status on production progress, actions, issue resolution, and support needs • Investigates product defects and production inefficiencies and develops solutions to reduce/mitigate • Conducts staffing and cost analyses • Coordinates and prepares justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation • Represents manufacturing on production related issues • Investigates product defects and production inefficiencies and develops solutions to reduce/mitigate • Conducts staffing and cost analyses • Coordinates and prepares justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation • Represents manufacturing on production related issues • Establishes and maintains production schedules This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Shift: This position is for 2nd shift. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • More than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment • More than 1 year of experience leading teams • Experience in the aerospace industry Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Bachelor’s degree or higher • More than 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel • Experience aggregating, visualizing, and analyzing data to make informed decisions (i.e. SQL, Excel, PowerBI, etc.) • Hands on experience with Component level testing (Vibe, Shock, Thermal Cycling, functional testing, etc.) Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc. Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
