Become a part of our caring community The Lead Product Manager - Technical works with relevant Humana stakeholders to create, prioritize, and manage product iteration backlogs, ensuring solutions meet Technology and Humana standards while delivering maximum value to customers and end users. This role advises executives and senior leaders in developing functional and business strategies on matters of significant impact and exercises independent judgment in managing complex initiatives, balancing strategic objectives, operational priorities, and technology investments with minimal supervision. As a key member of the Agile delivery organization, the Lead Product Manager - Technical is responsible for defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap priorities while translating business and customer needs into deliverable increments of value. Within Humana's Pharmacy Modernization initiative, this role leads the evolution of enterprise pharmacy capabilities across multiple lines of business and value streams, transforming fragmented processes and legacy solutions into scalable, reusable platform capabilities. Working across business, operations, architecture, engineering, and vendor teams, the Lead Product Manager drives modernization efforts through workflow innovation, automation, and technology enablement while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and strategic objectives. Success in this role requires strong product leadership, cross-functional collaboration, technical acumen, and a relentless focus on delivering measurable business outcomes, operational efficiency, resiliency, and enhanced customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap Leadership • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and modernization priorities for enterprise pharmacy capabilities and platform services. • Partner with business, operations, and technology leaders to translate strategic objectives, customer needs, and operational challenges into prioritized capabilities and product investments. • Establish value hypotheses, business outcomes, success measures, and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned to organizational goals. Product Ownership & Agile Delivery • Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog to maximize business value and support continuous delivery of modernization outcomes. • Define and refine epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams. • Balance strategic platform investments, regulatory requirements, operational commitments, and evolving business priorities. • Ensure delivered solutions meet Humana technology standards, quality expectations, and customer needs. Pharmacy Modernization Leadership • Lead product strategy and execution for modernized pharmacy capabilities and shared platform services across multiple lines of business. • Drive workflow transformation, automation, and process simplification initiatives that improve operational efficiency, transparency, and customer outcomes. • Partner with architecture and engineering teams to advance reusable, API-first, event-driven, and cloud-enabled capabilities that support long-term modernization goals. • Guide the retirement and modernization of legacy systems through scalable product and platform strategies. Cross-Functional Leadership & Governance • Build alignment across business, operations, technology, architecture, engineering, and vendor organizations. • Lead product reviews, roadmap planning sessions, backlog prioritization discussions, and capability planning activities. • Manage cross-team dependencies, resolve competing priorities, and ensure initiatives remain aligned with enterprise architecture standards and modernizati
