This would include HVAC, Refrigeration, Fire Protection, Compressed air and Vacuum Systems. Work closely with Plant Support and Engineering groups to define and implement modifications and improvements in support of continuous improvement. • Competitive pay starting at $44.63, can go up to $47.1 3 As a(n) HVAC Craftsperson, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: • Maintain site utilities equipment and recommend changes for continuous improvement. • Assist in meeting site energy reduction goals. • Test and manage site water treatment equipment. • Maintain site building automation, electronic and pneumatic controls for utilities equipment. • Test and maintain Fire Protection systems. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: • Two-year technical degree in HVAC “completed and verified prior to start” • Universal certification in refrigerant handling • Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs and willingness to work overtime on short notice and respond to call-ins. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: • Positive Can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and interest in Utilities operation. • Excellent work attendance record • Fire Protection experience • Cooling Tower water chemistry knowledge • Siemens building automation experience • Requires completion of in-plant HVAC training program. • Solid understanding of Utilities operations and systems.
