Alexion’s Global Marketing and Market Access team (GMMA) is an integrated strategy and operations team, with the core objective to develop disease and brand commercial and access strategies, as well as global marketing materials and negotiation strategies, while working closely with markets for implementation. The team diligently monitors the performance of the business and the effectiveness of our strategies, helping to position our brands for sustained long-term access and success. Additionally, the GMMA team delivers commercial strategies for our pipeline programs and establishes commercial marketing and access strategies for new product launches. The Global Brand Strategy Lead, Rare Bone and Endocrine Disorders is a foundational role for the success of the Hypophosphatasia (HPP) company strategy with focus on our Top 21 countries . You are accountable for leading the development and profitable management of our Hypophosphatasia portfolio with full accountability for commercialization. You have a leadership role within a matrix working model between global and local markets and across functions. Working in complex and competitive markets, you are accountable for creating a collaborative and high-performance environment that supports the innovation required to identify and realize substantial value opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Brand Strategy In-Line Products : • You are responsible for the VST (Lead of Value Sub team) in which you will refine, and safeguard strategic value propositions based on market events and clinical outcomes. In collaboration with Medical and Market Access teams to develop proposals and business cases for further data generation and RWE • You lead the DSP (Disease Strategy Plan) development and roll-out. Provide input into strategic planning process (patient funnel, patient journey, patient segmentation, et al). Prioritize the critical success factors and associated tactics coming out of the DSP and lead project workstreams for pull-through. Additionally, you will lead planning meetings with key stakeholders to align on DSP development and enterprise approval. • You are accountable for ensuring CI and Market Research plans are aligned to commercial strategy for your portfolio and ensure the enterprise is prepared for competitive assets in the marketplace • You are part of the GPT Core Team member (Global Program Team), keeping the GPT apprised of key programs and workstreams. As well as collaborate and align with key functions and government bodies i.e. Regional Area Heads (US, INTL, JP), GPT, GST, Clinical, Development, Regulatory, SciComms, Training etc. • You provide regular updates on strategy and global performance to senior leadership, e.g. GCOLT (Global Commercial Leadership Team) Launch Strategy • You are accountable for driving the Global Pre-Launch strategy and planning 12-18 months prior to launch and providing commercial input into development programs. • Partnering with (R&D, Operations, Corporate Affairs, Finance, et al) and regional/local teams to develop relevant launch strategy.
