About the role
Senior Manager, Senior Business Counsel- Capital One Shopping Overview: Capital One’s Retail Bank and Premium Products Division is a leader and pioneer in the banking industry, and seeks to Change Banking for Good. Within that Division, Capital One Shopping operates a browser extension, mobile application, and other platforms that provide users with online shopping coupons, rewards, customized offers, and price comparison tools. To support this rapidly expanding business, the Capital One Shopping Legal Team seeks to add an additional Senior Counsel to our growing team. Experience in a particular industry or type of practice is not required for this role – only a willingness and excitement to learn and help build something new. We are looking for strong candidates who are excited by new challenges in a highly collaborative environment with a supportive and engaged legal team. As Business Counsel, you will work hand-in-hand with leaders on the marketing, operations, business development, and product development teams, supporting them as they seek to grow Capital One Shopping by acquiring new customers, expanding product offerings, and moving into new markets. No two days are the same as a Capital One Shopping lawyer; you’ll field questions on topics spanning legal disciplines and be at the forefront of the intersection of law and technology. You will meaningfully participate in building innovative digital products and help the business market its solutions in a creative and compliant way.
