You will work closely with the Corporate Treasury team while managing legal risk and navigating complex securities and financial regulations. This is a great opportunity to join an outstanding Team at a Fortune 100 Company that is consistently voted one of the best places to work in the US.  Responsibilities include: • Supporting the execution of capital markets transaction, including credit card and auto securitizations, for Capital One as issuer  • Counseling and advising Corporate Treasury on the impact of changes in securities laws and regulations • Interpreting and providing guidance on existing agreements and obligations • Providing strategic legal advice on complex and novel issues • Collaborating with business partners to maintain securitization funding platforms, including supporting compliance with SEC reporting obligations  • Implementing and monitoring repeatable, controlled processes for capital markets transactions, including with respect to due diligence • Supervising process-oriented work of other legal professionals • Managing and coordinating outside counsel support and review Basic Qualifications:  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school • Active member in good standing of at least one state bar • At least 3 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm environment, at a government agency, as a military judge advocate, or as in-house counsel with a focus on capital markets     Preferred Qualifica
